Programs
The Hope Chest will develop and carry out the following programs for students:
Sponsorship
a teacher is selected or paired with a sponsor to be sponsored for 1 complete school year. When a teacher is sponsored, they will receive $500 worth of classroom supplies for the school year. The first batch of supplies, in the amount of $300.00, is provided at the beginning of the school year. The second batch of supplies, worth $200.00, is provided after Christmas break.
- A teacher can be sponsored once every 3 years
Room Aid
teachers who are not sponsored are selected to receive school supplies in the amount of $250.00.
- Teachers who receive school aid can apply for aid every year however there is no guarantee they will be selected each time they apply.
- If a teacher is selected twice concurrently, they must wait 3 years to apply again.
